I always say that I have a Cinderella story when asked how I got into this business.  I found the company I worked for, and eventually bought just two years later, in the yellow pages.  That makes me sound very old!  To this date, I continue to appreciate the variety of the industry and the challenges each new day/client presents.  I can honestly say that I have never been bored in the 19 years I have been doing this!

The advice I would you give to a person just entering this profession… Get involved in the industry outside of your organization to gain the most exposure and opportunities to learn.  Attend networking, educational and other events and make as many connections as you can within the industry.

I moved to Colorado in 1991 to attend Colorado State University and never left.  I love the seasons and the activities and events that come and go with each season.  I also love that it’s really never too hot or too cold here.  My favorite season is fall, and although I am always in awe of the natural beauty and the changing of the colors, the real reason is sports.  Fall is such an exciting time with college football in swing and all four major professional sports still in season or entering the post season.  Go Rockies!

Outside of work, I have a very busy family and wouldn’t know what to do if we weren’t busy.  My husband, Brad, and I have 4 kids – a 13yr old and 8-year-old triplets!  We attend roughly 150 of their sporting and other events each year between baseball, basketball, soccer, flag football, acting showcases, dance and more!
