The Rocky Mountain Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) invites you to participate in a fulfilling morning of community service at the Food Bank of the Rockies. Registration Information

Opportunity Name: We will be volunteering under the “Main Warehouse AM” shift, where we’ll work together to sort, pack, and prepare food for distribution.
Number of Slots: We have 15 volunteer slots available for this event, ensuring a significant impact while allowing for meaningful interaction among participants.

Registration Process:

1. Sign Up by April 11, 2024: All participants must register no later than two weeks before the volunteer shift, ensuring we’re adequately prepared to assist the Food Bank of the Rockies.
2. Use the Group Registration Link: Please visit our group’s registration page here to secure your spot. Locate our event by the date and click the green “Sign up” button.
3. Create an Account: If you’re new to the system, you’ll need to create an account. Don’t worry; no join code is required, and you can skip this step if prompted.
4. Accept the Agreement: During registration, you’ll accept the volunteer agreement and waiver as part of your commitment to participate.
5. Confirmation Email: After registering, you will receive an automatic confirmation email, ensuring you’re all set for the event.

Secondary Location for Salt Lake Area

We are excited to present our Salt Lake area members with a secondary location to volunteer! This volunteer opportunity will take place at the Utah Food Bank on April 25th from 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM. More information below!

It is important you arrive on time. Upon arrival, please enter through the volunteer entrance located on the west side of the building. If you are unable to attend this volunteer shift, please let us know as soon as possible so we can make this date/time opportunity available to other individuals. Other notes:

• If you are able please bring some non-perishable food to donate.
• Parking is extremely limited – carpool if possible
• Closed-toe shoes are required —no flip-flops, sandals, or open-toed shoes permitted
• Volunteer work tends to be somewhat physical in nature, typically requiring one to be on their feet for long periods of time and have the ability to do some light to moderate lifting
• To maintain a healthy environment, if individuals in your group are feeling ill please encourage them to stay home
• Please DO NOT leave bags or valuables visible in your car
• Keep safety in mind and ensure that those in your group are as well
• Keep off all mechanical/electrical equipment
• All individuals must be at least 12 years of age
